What is Love?

Love is crazy.
Love is blind.
Love goes everywhere
to find the one.
Love is free.
Love is born in you.
Love sacrifice all
for two hearts to beat as one.

Love is pain.
Love is pleasure.
Love laugh at day
and cries at night.
Love breaks your heart.
Love heals your heart.

Love is all emotions.
Love is unpredictable.
Love is wild
It takes time to tame.

Love is a battle
you win and loose.
Love take chances
to live and learn.
Some times love makes mistakes.

Once love takes over your heart completely.
You loose all controls, and love leads the way.

Honestly Lilly, it's not my cup of tea. I did like these three lines:

Once love takes over your heart completely.
You loose all controls, and love leads the way.
There's nothing else you can do, but pray.

You're talking about Eros, and I thought they were a bit more original that the preceding -which to me seemed to be a string of clichés ABOUT love, but don't really share anything new or revealing. I think St. Paul said it best in 1 Corinthshort love pain poemsians: 13, 4 - 7: "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." But I do think you're on the right track in thinking about and writing about love.Good luck.
