I want a 7 or 10 inch outdoor tablet pc.
It has to have windows O/S in it for software i need to install .
I need a bright screen, maybe 500 nits or more?
It is for a large sized GPS use
I found large GPS units on ebay but they seem to be converted pads only and have lowtablet pc gps software luminance for indoor use.
Where can i find a bright one?
Not aware of a 500nits tablet display - the iPad 2 is the brightest at about 450nits and others seem to be around 300 or so. Even the 500 nits value is probably not going to be suitable as tablet displays are not designed ftablet pc gps softwareor bright light (outdoors) like GPS navigation units - transflective display. A 7 inch size would be more manageable. In a car most of the tablets should be viewable. A windows/Android dual boot like the Viewsonic ViewPad might give you more options.
