I am using Norton Internet security now. It is going to expire on August. I have 2 option, Kaspersky internet security and Mcafee. Which is better? or should I renew my subscription with Norton. Kaspersky I am downloading from Barclays online banking and Mcafee comes with my broadband. So plz help me to choose between three. Thanks in advance.

Go for Kaspersky Internet Security 2009. I use Kaspersky myself. You don't need to do anything once it detects malware. It automatically disinfects and deletes malware. It really does everything for you. It also sorts the programs out in Firewall permissions settings and you don't need to do any again.

The only thing you need to do is to sort out the vulnerabilities once Kaspersky detects them.
Hi, I answered your previous question and gave you the link for Barclays Kaspersky. I think you should go with Kaspersky because (1) It is really good (2) You are getting it for nothing (3) Mcafee slows down your computer (4) Norton is good but not as good as Kaspersky and you have to pay for it.

none avast has a better virus detection rate than all of them after extensive reasearch on my uncles test computer , he IT engineer it beat all three hands down , norton and mcafee hog your system resources and they are rubbish, kasperkaspersky internet securitysky is ok , but why pay when avast is free and better FACT

he tested avast , avg , avira, comodo, mcafee, norton, kaspersky, nod32, panda, and pctools

Everyone has their opinion when it comes to this issue. The best Anti-Virus first and foremost is using common sense while one line all the rest come second. In my opinion Kaspersky is a very good program and so is AVIRA and AVAST. you'llne. Will tell you that AVAST is the best based on his test but others have also tested AVAST and although it passed it didn't do it with flying colors.

I wouldn't trust any of them. I paid Norton in January for ONE whole year protection. Beginning of May they simply turned off the virus protection and started to offer me Norton Protection 360.
